Vale Press sponsor “Wildflowers” in Mickleton!

Vale Press are pleased to be sponsoring the Wildflowers U12 girls’ football team – part of the Mickleton Rangers Youth Football Club – for the 2025/26 season.

The girls play on Sunday mornings at Mickleton Sports Club and train on Tuesday evenings.

It’s great to see girls’ sport booming locally, especially given the success of the Lionesses at the Euros 2025.

Who knows, we may have the next Hannah Hampton or Chloe Kelly in the team, perhaps leading England to victory as a part of the Lionesses in a few years time https://www.englandfootball.com/england/womens-senior-team

Thank you to everyone involved in the club – those who volunteer to run the teams, both training and administration.

Printing with Vale helps protect Tropical Habitats around the World.

Vale Press are pleased to confirm that we have maintained our status as a “Certified Carbon Balanced Printer” with the World Land Trust.

Between the 1st August 2024 and 31st July 2025, Vale Press has offset the equivalent of 52.17 Tonnes of CO2 – in doing so, Vale Press has enabled the World Land Trust to protect and restore 9,645m2 of threatened tropical habitat.

The World Land Trust is an international conservation charity that works to protect biologically significant habitats that are threatened, in maintaining such habitats, they help to offset carbon emissions, which is vital work given the effects that climate change is beginning to have worldwide. They work on these restoration projects all around the world, in countries such as Vietnam, Mexico, Ecuador and Guatemala.

The World Land Trust’s website states that “when customers choose to use Carbon Balanced Paper, printed by a Carbon Balanced Printer, they can be confident in knowing they are choosing one of the most sustainable print solutions available”.

Vale Press is the only printer in Gloucestershire or Worcestershire to have this certificate, so when you print with us, you can be sure you are supporting the most environmentally sustainable printer you can.

If you would like more information on the Carbon Balanced programmes, please visit www.carbonbalancedpaper.com.

Vale Press help raise £8,000 for three great local charities!

Vale Press were pleased to be the printing partner for the Chipping Campden Open Gardens Weekend, which was held on Saturday, 21st and Sunday, 22nd June 2025.

The event opened up the historic and beautiful gardens all around Chipping Campden for visitors to admire.

Some of these gardens, “characterised by geometric designs and manicured hedges, showcase the town’s historic grandeur,” and remain a “cherished part of the town’s heritage, attracting visitors from near and far”.

Throughout the weekend, over £8,000 was raised for three really worthwhile, local charities: Campden Home Nursing, Campden Edge and Campden Information Centre

Vale Press printed the tickets, programmes and postcards for this event at no charge, helping to make such a wonderful event possible.

Thank you to Stephen Turner from the Open Gardens for his kind words:

“Vale Press is a true Cotswolds gem – a family-run printing group that’s been serving our community for over forty years with the finest quality, eco-friendly printing solutions. They really do print, package and deliver everything!

Vale Press’s support means every pound saved on printing is another pound for our charities.

We’re so lucky to have businesses like Vale Press in our community. Thank you.”
